Warning: 2P!Hetalia, so expect blood and creepy talk.
You were a trade for mastermind Luciano Vargas. An evil man with odd colored eyes and a switchblade hobby for young women. When the law put him out of business with his partners in crime, he had no choice to yield to it or face prison. Since everyone is scared of him, no one dares to kill him. His new hobby of making a "contract", where he keeps a person for a week to be his servant, comes to you when you trade yourself for your little sister's place at Luciano's mansion. But Luciano feels something he never felt before. You are not just one of the girls that he's taken as a servant or killed before. Is this a sickness? Who is this mysterious man whose personality ranges from cold to killer? Will you live to find out?
You were actually reasonable today. You made good food. You actually smiled for once. Maybe it was because Luciano confessed to you. Well, he did try and kill your crush while he was at it, so maybe that's why you were hesitant around him.
That evening you found yourself in the garden again. It was a usual place to find you now, not just your room. You were thinking about the past week. Arthur, Luciano, Lizzie, everything.
What would happen when you went back? I mean, Luciano did confess his love to you. Would you really want to leave him? But he killed people! …But not anymore… So was he good or bad? Can a killer really change? There were those shows where killers started, you know, doing good stuff like babysitting and working in an office. But those were shows. Were they real? Could you really go by their standards of turning good?
You kicked a stone wall in anger and gave a frustrated growl. You wanted Lizzie and your parents back. Your friends. But Luciano was treating you well now. He even let you take a walk around the mansion today so you could get some fresh air. Was that the work of a killer?
Luciano found you pacing his garden. He leaned against the statue of the woman with the flower dress and watched you for a bit. He chuckled and you jumped.
"Don't do that!" You gasped.
Luciano sauntered over to you, taking a gloved hand and putting it under your chin, making you squirm. "What's wrong, my little moonflower? You look like you're at loose ends."
"I am." You sighed. Gah, tears. You hated them. You looked away so Luciano wouldn't see your face.
You felt Luciano's arms around you and you flinched. He brought you to his chest, one of his hands wrapping itself around your head, combing your hair. You closed your eyes and felt his heart beating in his chest. He was warm against the slight chill of the autumn air.
"Sit with me." Luciano said.
He wrapped an arm around you and you both sat on a small stone bench, which was carved into an alcove near the fountain. He pushed your head towards him until you agreed to lean against his shoulder. Luciano's right arm was around your shoulder, bringing you close to his side. His left arm was across your waist, keeping you close to him.
"Do you need to talk?" Luciano asked.
"It's just meaningless ramble." You sighed.
"How about if I just listen?" Luciano asked. "I won't say a word."
You whimpered and then poured your soul out, small tears soaking into his tan jacket.
"And…and I'm nothing!" You finished. "I'm worthless!"
At that moment, Luciano couldn't stand it any more. You bashed yourself more than you complained about him or Arthur or anyone, which is what he was expecting when you started confessing into his chest on the bench. He tilted your chin up and kissed you lightly on the lips.
"Don't you ever say you are worthless." Luciano growled. His eyes softened. "You mean the world to me. I…I don't know how to say it. I've never felt so much love for one person. You mean more than life to me. More than air. The sun. The moon. This garden. I would trade it all for one day with you and you only." He blushed when he realized what he just said out loud.
He turned his face away. "I'm…I'm going insane…" He mumbled.
You lightly touched his cheek. "You're not." You whispered.
There was a beautiful silent moment. Luciano leaned forward slowly and kissed your lips again. At first, you were scared. Last time Luciano really kissed you, he also was about to end your life. But slowly, you warmed up to the kiss.
Wow.
Ten times better than Arthur.
Luciano moved his lips in the right way, taking the lead and letting you melt into his arms. He parted from the kiss and smirked at your blush but he couldn't fully ignore the blush on his own face.
"You really don't know how to kiss, do you?" He chuckled.
"Well, I'm sorry!" You huffed. "I'm sorry I've been a good little girl and not one of those girls who kiss random men at school! None of them were really like me. I couldn't trust them with my kiss."
"You're breaking my heart, __________." Luciano purred. "Come here." He gently grabbed your chin and got so close you could feel his breath on your lips. "It's simple." He got a little closer. "Just move your lips against mine…slowly…and savor it like it's the best thing you've ever felt…and pour all of your love into it."
You closed your eyes slowly and met Luciano's lips again. You tried to mimic his lips and you felt like the world could crumble away and you would never notice.
"Good." Luciano said. "That was good."
"I love you." You whispered.
"I love you too." Luciano said.
Chiku stood in the window of his room, looking out over the garden. He felt rage.
So much rage.
That wasn't Luciano. That wasn't his leader. That was a hopeless romantic. Chiku scowled and walked away. He would pay. That idiot would pay for taking Chiku's treasured pictures and then breaking his own rules.
…
"Luzifer!" Luciano called. The German walked into Luciano's office.
"Yes sir?" Luzifer asked.
"I want you to help me with something. Take Chiku and get me the items on this list." Luciano said. He pushed a list towards Luzifer.
"Why do you need these things?" Luzifer asked.
"Because we are hosting a ball." Luciano said. "A ball just for us."
"Very well." Luzifer said, giving a small nod with his head.
Luciano smiled and got up, closing the door to his office and going upstairs. He opened the door to your room to find you in your bed, looking up at the ceiling.
"What are you doing?" Luciano asked.
"I can't sleep." You said.
Luciano sat at the edge of your bed. "Why can't you sleep?" Luciano said.
"I don't know…I guess I have a lot on my mind…" You sighed.
Luciano laid next to you, on top of the covers. He pulled you close to him and stroked your hair. You felt his chest rumble slightly as he muttered something.
"Ninna…what was it? Ninna Nanna oh, wait, no…"
"What are you doing?" You asked.
"Remembering something!" Luciano snapped. "What was it…ah. Got it. Lay down."
Luciano put your head on his chest and shifted around until you were comfy. Then Luciano's chest rumbled as he started to sing a soft song.
"Ninna nanna, ninna oh
Questo bimbo a chi lo dò?
Se lo dò alla Befana,
Se lo tiene una settimana.
Se lo dò all'uomo nero,
Se lo tiene un anno intero.
Ninna nanna, ninna oh,
Questo bimbo me lo terrò"
"That was so pretty." You said. "What's that from?"
"It's an Italian lullaby." Luciano said. "I forgot most of my Italian roots but I never forgot that song."
"Sing it again." You insisted.
Luciano sighed and sang it again. You felt your eyelids become heavy and you snuggled into his chest as he sang.
"Questo…" Luciano yawned. "Questo bimbo me…lo terro…" He made sure he was comfortable before falling asleep next to you.
…
"Sir." Luzifer whispered. Luciano cracked an eye open.
"What do you want?" He asked.
"We got the things you wanted." Luzifer said.
"Right. I'll be right down-" Luciano stopped when he saw you curled up next to him. He pointed at your form. "How did this get here?"
"I believe you fell asleep next to her." Luzifer said.
Luciano looked at himself. "And I took off my jacket and shoes?"
"I believe you got comfy before you fell asleep next to her." Luzifer restated.
"Right." Luciano untangled himself from you and sneaked away with Luzifer down the stairs.
"Luzifer, Chiku, let me see what you got." Luciano said.
…
Arthur couldn't help but smirk as the crowd roared. "Are we in agreement?" Arthur yelled. The crowd yelled again. "Will we fight?" Arthur yelled. More cheering.
"Let's get her back!" Arthur yelled. "Tonight, we murder the murderer!"
…
You woke up and rubbed the sleep from your eyes. There was a warm spot where Luciano was once laying. You got dressed and went downstairs, only to be met with Luciano halfway up. "Why don't you relax today?" Luciano quickly said. "Catch up on some sleep?"
"I'm fine. Really." You said. You tried to move past him. "I have a deal to keep. I need to clean up the place."
"Go shopping." Luciano said. "Chiku and Luzifer will take you food shopping. The pantry is empty."
"Really? It was full a few days ago…" You furrowed your eyebrows.
"Rats got to them." Luciano said, pulling you down the stairs and off to one side. "Luzifer! Chiku! Take her to go shopping!"
"You're hiding something from me!" You huffed. "What is it?"
The Japanese man and the German man pulled you outside. "Hey!" You protested. "Let me go!"
A tan military jacket came flying out the door after you. "Take this, it's cold." Luciano yelled as he shut the door.
...
The drive to the store was one of the most painfully slow rides in your entire life. This was the first time in a whole week you had been in your town. You felt like jumping out of the car and running around like in "It's a Wonderful Life". You never knew the little town could grow on you so much. You dreamed of the day you would grow up and leave the town but know you wanted nothing more than to get it back.
You looked down at the list that Luciano gave you. It was scribbled on the paper like he didn't have much time to write it…or he wrote it to cover something from you. He wrote "eggs" twice…does that mean he wants two dozen eggs or he just forgot he wrote eggs before?
You looked at the town square as you passed it. You gasped when you saw a lock of blonde hair waving in the wind. You pressed yourself to the glass and Chiku and Luzifer yelled out at your sudden movement, which made Luzifer step on the brakes. No…it wasn't your sister. Your shoulders slumped and you got a knot in your stomach once more, thinking about leaving the mansion.
…
Arthur strolled through the store, feeling proud of himself. He rallied the school to help get you back tonight. Perfect. He would burst through the doors and become the hero in your eyes. Perfect. Picture perfect.
Arthur stopped to look at the reflection of himself in the meat counter window. He ran a hand through his beautiful blonde locks and kept on walking. That's when he heard it. Your beautiful voice.
Arthur looked around a corner and saw you with Chiku and Luzifer. He waited until you sent the two men looking for some things before he approached you. Time for some good old acting…
"___________!" He gasped. "What are you doing here?"
"Arthur!" You gasped. Then you remembered Luciano's words about your crush. "Oh…Arthur…"
"Everyone's been so worried about you, my love." Arthur breathed. "Did you escape?"
"Hm? No. I'm shopping." You said. You took a step back.
"Oh, love, look at you." Arthur said. "You're all shaken up from that awful man."
"No, really, I'm fine." You said, backing up. My God, he was staring at your chest! Luciano was right!
"___________, my love, come with me." Arthur said. He pulled you to the meat counter so you could see the reflection of the both of you. "What do you see?"
"A…pig?" You tilted your head.
"No, not in the counter, in the reflection of the glass." Arthur chuckled.
"A pig." You confirmed.
"No, ___________." Arthur growled. He grabbed your chin. "Look at us. The both of us."
"I'm not interested in you any more." You said, pushing him away. "Just leave me alone."
"He's poisoned your mind!" Arthur snarled.
"No! Luciano cleared it!" You yelled. "He told me what a selfish pig you are!"
Arthur grabbed your hands. "I'm supposed to rescue you! I'm your hero! You belong to me!"
You screamed and several people in the store looked at the two of you. Chiku heard your yelling first and ran to grab Luzifer before finding you and Arthur.
Chiku launched himself at Arthur and pushed him away. Luzifer grabbed you and held you behind his back.
"Chiku, take him outside." Luzifer growled.
Chiku nodded and grabbed the boy by his collar. He shoved the boy outside the store. "Wait!" He heard. Chiku stopped and turned to see Arthur standing there.
"You don't like it there, do you?" Arthur said. Chiku turned back towards the store.
"Look at you! You were a killer! Now you're degraded to a shopper, doing that Italian's bidding." Arthur sneered.
Chiku walked over to the boy, getting deadly close to him. "I know what you are planning." Chiku growled. "That gate will be locked tonight. There is no way you will be getting in."
Arthur's face fell slightly at Chiku's words.
Chiku gave a small smile. "You'll need a key."
And with that, Chiku shoved a small key into Arthur chest.
"You will be rewarded." Arthur smirked.
Chest? *looks down* What chest?
