Warning: 2P!Hetalia, so expect blood and creepy talk.

You were a trade for mastermind Luciano Vargas. An evil man with odd colored eyes and a switchblade hobby for young women. When the law put him out of business with his partners in crime, he had no choice to yield to it or face prison. Since everyone is scared of him, no one dares to kill him. His new hobby of making a "contract", where he keeps a person for a week to be his servant, comes to you when you trade yourself for your little sister's place at Luciano's mansion. But Luciano feels something he never felt before. You are not just one of the girls that he's taken as a servant or killed before. Is this a sickness? Who is this mysterious man whose personality ranges from cold to killer? Will you live to find out?

"Luci!" Elizabeth yelled, running up to the man. Luciano picked her up and put her on his shoulders.
"Hello, little snow princess! I like that coat!" Luciano said.
You smiled and ran up to Luciano to give him a peck on the cheek. It was Christmas Eve and your family went to the mansion to celebrate. Lizzie got a new fur coat from Flavio and she wore it that evening, over one of the several princess dresses. The dress was a light pink petticoat with cream underskirts. On her head was a little fur hat that matched her coat.
You yourself were dressed up for the dinner. Flavio sent you a beautiful evening gown and matching fur-trimmed coat. The dress was red and had beads sewn into it to make patterns. The coat covered the dress and came with a hat similar to Lizzie's.
Luciano was looking nice himself. He was wearing a nice dress shirt and black pants with a casual black jacket. A longer pea coat was what he was wearing outside. As usual, he was wearing his black gloves.
"I'm sorry we're late." You said. "Lizzie's art class ended late today. Are my parents here already?"
"They are sitting with Luzifer and Carlie inside." Luciano said.
You looked down at Luciano's hands and saw him holding a bouquet of poinsettias. "What's that for?" You asked.
  "This? Ah, nothing." Luciano said.
You picked up Lizzie off of Luciano's shoulders. "You shouldn't be doing that." You scolded the Italian.
"Moonflower, I'm not hurting anymore." Luciano chuckled. He dropped the flowers and bent down to pick them up again, freezing in pain and continuing to bend down but at a much slower rate. "I'm fine." He wheezed, straightening up again.
You raised an eyebrow and gave Luciano a soft hug. "Don't push yourself, ok?"
"I've been healing for over three months, I'm fine." Luciano sighed. "Don't worry about me. It's my job to worry about you."
"I love you." You pouted. "It's my job too, ok?" You kissed him on the lips again. Lizzie chuckled from where she stood nearby.
"Hold on, snow princess. The prince is busy." Luciano said, returning to your kiss.
  "Prince?" You giggled.
"Need more proof?" Luciano said. He dipped you down into a Hollywood-style kiss. It took your breath away. The soft leather of his gloves caressed your head and lower back. Your hands wrapped around his neck. It was perfect…until he dropped you.
You landed in the soft snow with a soft "poof" of the snow around you. Lizzie laughed and Luciano rubbed his sore chest.
  "Sorry." Luciano said.
You stood up and dusted yourself off. Luciano wrapped an arm around your waist and took Lizzie's hand and led them into the mansion.
You both gasped at the sight.
In front of the stairs, there was a massive tree with beautiful ornaments hanging off of it. The tree nearly touched the chandelier! There were big presents under the tree. Lizzie squealed and ran over to the presents.
"My God! What is this?" You said.
"I believe gift giving is a big part of the holiday season, is it not?" Luciano said, a sparkle in his eye.
"What did you get her? A pony?" You laughed.
"Well…" Luciano looked down at the ground.
  You froze. "You didn't…"
"I'm kidding!" Luciano laughed. "I'm kidding! Luzifer!" He called.
Luzifer was holding the arm of his new girlfriend, Carlie, your parents behind them. They sat on the stairs and watched as Lizzie examined all the boxes. Luciano opened his arms and slightly winced in pain but smiled anyways. "Welcome to our Christmas Eve night! Please make yourselves at home!" He turned to Lizzie, who was kneeling by a large box. "Well? Take your coat off and stay for a while! Open up some things!"
Lizzie smiled and slowly took off her coat and gave it to your mother, like she was trying to hold back her excitement by being slow and patient. You kept your coat on because you were slightly chilled.  Luciano rolled his eyes. "Hurry up! I can't stand this wait!" He ran to your sister and picked her up by her waist, flying her through the air and dropping her off at a big box. He paid the price with a small wince of pain which no one but you saw.  "Open this one first! Hurry!"
Lizzie laughed and started to tear at the paper.
"You're worse than Lizzie." You laughed.
You helped Luciano off of the ground.
"I know, I know." Luciano sighed. "But it's Christmas." He smiled at you and kissed you lightly on the lips.
It was true. Around Lizzie, Luciano was the nicest person in the world. His eyes sparkled with fond memories of something you didn't know of. You thought you saw the child of Luciano reflected in both his and Lizzie's eyes. It was like they shared a secret that only the two of them knew about. A secret that made both of them very happy. It made you wonder what Lizzie's stay at the mansion was like. Around everyone else, Luciano was the more quiet man that you knew for most of your stay at the mansion. When he got mad, his tempter got the better of him and he had to learn that switchblades were not the first option when you get mad. When he was sad, he only showed it to you. When he was happy, he showed it with kind words and a small smile. When he was madly in love with you, he was the world to you and you were the world to him, which was every day now.
"Hey, that's my daughter. Save it for later, lovebirds." Your father commented on your kiss, smiling.
Luciano sheepishly smiled. He was shy around your dad because, like every good father, yours chewed Luciano out about dating you. Your dad chuckled at Luciano's reaction and sipped his coffee.
Lizzie yelled out. "A dollhouse! ___________! Look at this!"
You went over to your sister. "Oh my look at that!  So pretty!"
Lizzie moved onto the next one.
"No! No!" Luciano said, running over. "Not yet! This one first!" He handed your sister another box.
You laughed. "You want to number these in order?"
"Maybe." Luciano said. He reached under the tree and pulled a smaller box out. "This one's for you."
You blushed and started to open the box. At that moment, Luciano slowly slipped away, taking the flowers with him.
"I'll be out in the garden." He whispered to Luzifer.
You saw your lover move away out of the corner of your eye. You put the half opened present to the side and followed him outside, glad you kept your coat on.
You followed his tracks that he left in the snow. It went past the fountain and the statues. You reached the edge of Luciano's property. There was a fence that was made out of the same black iron as the front gate. There was a large break in the fence and the footsteps of Luciano's boots went under the break. You followed it under.
Luciano was kneeling on the snow-covered ground. In front of him was what looked like a headstone. You sneaked around him. Why did he keep this on the other side of the fence? You read the writing.
  Romano Vargas
  Forever young, forever loved
  1990-2000
My dearest brother, I will always miss you.

You felt like crying at the sight. Was this the gravesite of Luciano's brother? In front of the stone was the bouquet of poinsettias that Luciano was holding. Luciano was clearing the snow off of the stone.
You heard him sniffle and you knelt besides him. You touched his shoulder and he jumped. He turned to you, his eyes red.
"I know you miss him." You whispered.
"I do." Luciano said, looking back at the headstone. "I made this for him."
  "Is he…here?" You asked.
"No. Romano's body is back in Italy. I made this for him because…I needed a place where I could talk to him." Luciano whispered. "He was my role model. My childhood hero."
You wrapped your arms around Luciano. "If your brother was anything like what you are now, I'm sure he is very proud of you. And he loves you."
"I know he would have loved to meet you." Luciano said, letting you hold him in your arms.
"I know." You smiled. "It's ok."
Luciano wrapped his arms around you as well and you both sat there in the snow. It was peaceful and quiet. You both looked at the red flowers against the pure white snow.
"You look very beautiful, ____________." Luciano said after the moment of silence.
"Thank you." You smiled. "Yet another gift from your cousin."
Luciano sighed. "If you want him to stop, just let me know and-"
"God forbid it!" You laughed. "Lizzie would be crushed!"
"Ok, but let me know." Luciano chuckled.
"Come on, let's get you inside." You said, pulling Luciano up.
When you went back inside, Lizzie had already opened up most of her presents. You returned to your smaller box while Lizzie showed Luciano all the things she got from the Italian and the German.
"Lookie!" She smiled and held out a large knife, practically making her family pass out at the sight. Luciano shot daggers with his eyes at Luzifer, who gave her the present.
"That's nice Lizzie…" Luciano said while staring down the German.
Luzifer chuckled. "With that pretty face she has, give her a few more years before she needs it for all the boys knocking at her door."
"Ah, that's what I have you two for." Your father said, smiling at the Italian man and the German man.
"Trust me, when she gets her own boyfriend, he'll be grilled three times over, once with each of us." Luciano chuckled, putting the knife to the side.
You finished unwrapping your present and gasped as the sight. It was the little music box that Luciano had in his room. Luciano walked over to you and sat besides you.
"This music box was my mother's. She wanted to give it as a wedding present when my brother grew up and found a wife. Since that never happened, she gave it to me to give to someone I love. It would mean so much to me if you kept this." Luciano said.
"It's so beautiful." You said. "It means the world to me that you're giving this me."
Luciano kissed your hand lightly and turned towards Lizzie again. "Well? What have you got there, snow princess?"
Lizzie showed Luciano her new dolls that matched the dollhouse. Luciano took off his coat and offered to take yours. You stood up and took off the fur-trimmed coat and Luciano's jaw dropped, much to the laughter of the others standing around. Your dress sparkled in the light of the tree and the large chandelier. The dress highlighted your curves and the beautiful red cloth looked great against your skin.
Luciano blushed and went to go hang up the coats, returning and sitting down with Lizzie to open presents. Lizzie ran to her mom and asked for something, running back to Luciano and handing him something. It was a small box.
Luciano opened it to find a gold letter opener. He smiled.
"From our family to you." Your mother said.
"A knife. How cute." Luciano chuckled. He turned to your parents. "Thank you." He said. You helped him stand up again because of his recovering wound and he picked out two presents from under the large tree. He handed one to your mother and one to your father.
He pulled a small wrapped box from his pocket. "I kept this one with me because I didn't want it to get lost." He blushed.
You opened the box and found a beautiful pair of diamond earrings. "Luciano, these are wonderful!" You said, hugging the Italian man.
"Anything for you." Luciano said. "I wish it was more."
"Ah, this is a very nice wine!" Your father called. He held a wine bottle in his hand.
"Brought over from Italy." Luciano said. "One of the best vineyards in Tuscany."
"Thank you very much." You mother said, holding up a diamond necklace. "You really didn't have to do all of this, Luciano."
"I feel like it's my duty." Luciano said. "As a thank you for letting me date your beautiful daughter." He wrapped an arm around your waist and brought you closer.
"If we keep getting these gifts, you have my consent to marry her." Your father laughed.
Luciano blushed redder than your dress. "I…I-well, um, sir, I-um…"
  Everyone laughed.
  "He's a cutie." Carlie laughed.
Luzifer pouted at the comment about Luciano and Carlie kissed him on the cheek, brightening up the German's face.
You smiled at your lover and he smiled back at you. He took the earrings out of the box in your hand and put them in your ears.
"Those look beautiful." Luciano said. He kissed you on your cheek and turned to everyone else. "It's about time for dinner. Who would like to eat?"
Everyone got up and headed to the dining room. Ever since Luciano was hurt and Chiku went missing, no one wanted Luzifer to handle all the food duties by himself so your family and Luciano hired kitchen staff. When you got into the dining room, there was a wonderful spread of food on the table. You all sat down around the table.
Luciano raised his wine glass. "A toast." He proposed. "To Christmas, New Year's and people I can actually call friends."
Everyone raised their glasses in response and the air was soon filled with the delicate sound of glasses clinking against one another.
After dinner, gift giving continued, followed by Lizzie passing out in a sitting room while everyone was talking. By 9:00, your family agreed that it was time to head home. Lizzie would be up early the next morning opening Santa presents. You told your family you would be home in a little while and with a strict order from your father to be home at 10, they left the mansion.
You talked to Carlie before she left and when you turned around, Luciano wasn't standing there anymore. You went up to his bedroom to try and find him. You brought the little music box with you because you wanted to thank him yet again for the meaningful gift.
You found him sitting in front of a fire in his room, in a big armchair. Luciano's jacket was hung over the back of the chair and the dress shirt he was wearing was open, revealing a patch of gauze bandages where Arthur shot him. Seeing the wound made you slightly boil with rage. Arthur was happy in his home, with a cleared name and no consequences; and Luciano took the result of it.
Luciano was busy popping his daily pain pills like candy. Every evening he was drugged beyond belief to help with the pain in his chest. Once, he forgot to take his medicine while you two were on a dinner date and you had to drive him home because he was about to gnaw off the door handle in pain.
You crept up behind him and he slightly jumped when you wrapped your arms around his neck from behind the chair.
"Hello there, moonflower." Luciano chuckled. "Aren't you supposed to be getting on home?"
"I came to make sure you were ok." You said. "I get worried about you and this wound."
"I'm fine." Luciano chuckled. He turned so he could look at you from where you stood behind the chair. He tucked a bit of your hair behind your ear. "I just took my medication for the evening."
You slowly reached for his chest and touched the wound lightly. Luciano sighed. "That feels good." Luciano commented. "Massage it right there."
You giggled and rubbed Luciano's chest. He practically purred in happiness. When you were done, you found yourself in Luciano's lap, talking about life, the world and everything.
"I actually came here to thank you for the music box." You said. "It really means a lot to me." You held out the small box and Luciano took it from you, opening it up to hear that sad tune play. Luciano started humming along with it. He got up and took you with him, wrapping an arm around your waist and a hand in yours. You both swayed to the music as it played.
"Why did you fall in love with me?" You asked the Italian.
"Once upon a time, I looked out my window on an October morning. I was feeling really lonely that day because the day before that was the day my brother passed away. Then I saw a young woman pass by my house with a little girl. She caught my eye and took away my breath. I didn't know how to love. How to do anything. I'm still learning. But I wanted to know if the personality of that young woman matched her looks, so I did the only thing I could. I kidnapped her. Her personality was three times more amazing than her looks and her looks was nothing to just blink at, so now you know how much personality and fire she held in her spirit. I thought, maybe I'd get some yelling out of my system and I'd be done. But she turned my world upside down and I've never felt better or more alive. I was so happy when I heard she felt the same about me. I changed because of her." Luciano's lips were very close to yours. "And I am so in love I can't explain it." He kissed you tenderly on your lips.
The music box tune ended but you found yourself still dancing with Luciano.
"You are the best thing that ever happened to me." Luciano said.
"And you are the best thing that happened to me." You said.
Luciano held you in his arms. You closed your eyes and listened to his heartbeat.
"Will you marry me?" Luciano asked.
"What?" You jumped back to look at him.
Luciano blushed. "I mean, not now…You have a life and I'd kill myself if married life destroyed your current dreams…but maybe…in the future?"
You smiled and kissed Luciano. "Yes." You smiled brightly.
"So is it a promise? A rain check for a wedding?" Luciano asked.
  "Promise." You swore.
"Seal it with a kiss?" Luciano asked.
You giggled and kissed Luciano once more. He was your love. He would be your love forever. As you stood by the fire and kissed his loving lips, you couldn't help but imagine a beautiful wedding dress and dancing at your wedding reception. Luciano was your soul mate. You were meant for him and visa versa. You loved him more than life. More than air. You would never forget the first time you met and how scared and angry you were. Yet at the same time, you looked forward to the New Year and what it would bring for you and Luciano.

I normally don't get strong reactions when I read stuff, but this made me cry, yell at my computer when a character was being oblivious/stupid, or become paranoid about reading this in the dark... For that, I congratulate you on a work well done. :D
